Grobeljski drevored or drevored Lipce is a tree-lined avenue of lindens and linden trees, which was part of the Groblje castle estate. Today, the tree-lined avenue is owned by the state of the Republic of Slovenia. The first records in the Franciscan Cadastre about this tree-lined avenue date back to 1825. The oldest linden trees will be as old as 200 years. This tree-lined avenue, which is the only preserved part of the park design next to the former Groblje manor, runs in an east-west direction. The thickest linden tree in the tree-lined avenue has a circumference of five meters, and the circumferences of other linden trees measure from 1.5 to 4 meters.
Dead trees in the tree-lined avenue are being replaced by younger ones.

Mengeško polje is part of the Kamnik-Bistrica plain. It is located south of Homško polje, east of the settlement Mengeš. To the east, it is bordered by the populated area of the sprawling settlements of Zgornje, Srednje and Spodnje Jarši, Rodice and Grobelj. In the southern area is the western part of Domžale (Stob) and Depala vas to Trzin in the west. The settlement of Loka pri Mengšu is located in the eastern area of the Mengeš field.
Most of the Mengeš plain consists of arable land. On the northern edge towards Homško polje is a large economic complex of the pharmaceutical industry. Between Mengeš and Zgornje Jarše there is an artificial channel Pšate, which flows as a right tributary into the Kamniška Bistrica river near Vir.
