The cascades of Verna and the brook Verna are situated nearby Veliki Šumik (24 m) which is the most magnificent waterfall of Pohorje. River Lobnica flows in many cascades and there are two waterfalls - and cascades of Verna (Verna brook). Pohorje is the southernmost part of Central Alps.
