Although this is an ephemeral (seasonal) waterfall, it is noteworthy as the highest waterfall in the Logarska dolina valley. With a total height of 120 meters (approx. 394 ft), it surpasses even the famous Rinka waterfall by about 30 meters.
The waterfall is active primarily in spring during the snowmelt and after heavy autumn rains. It is visible from almost anywhere in the valley, as the white ribbon of water plunges over a dark rock face, which provides a dramatic contrast.
