Javorniški slapovi

Waterfalls of Javornik used to be well known among palaeontologists. Nowadays location of fossils nearby waterfalls is overgrown with the thicket. There is no visible footpaath to waterfalls, so orientation is not easy. Best way is to go from Jesenice to the Javorniški Rovt. From the road is a turning to the small electric power station. Follow down the stream the right bank (there is no path) of the brook while the top of the upper waterfall is reached.
