Katarinski trg (St. Catherine's Square)
The square is named after Katarina Zrinska, a poetess and wife of Croatian viceroy Petar Zrinski. It is enclosed by the Baroque Church of St. Catherine (built in 1632), renowned for its magnificent wall paintings and sculptures. To the left of the church stands Zagreb's first Gymnasium.
Nearby is the Lotrščak tower, offering one of the finest panoramic vistas over the old part of Zagreb.
