The area of south-west edge of 'Trnovski gozd'. The Bavcer hut on Caven is situated below the Mali Modrasovec (1306 m). It is a popular mountaineering destination and vista to Vipava valley. The access is possible by a macadame road or from Stomaž with the steep footpath.
