Description
It is hard to find this wonderful waterfall of the Stranica brook in summer time. You will succeed to find and see it only in a rainy period; the best time to visit is in late autumn. Water flows over a 20 m high cliff which hangs over the riverbed. Stranica brook is a left tributary of the Dragonja river, and the waterfall is located about 600 m below the spring.
Access
From the road Črni Kal - Dekani proceed to Kubed and Gračišče. After Gračišče, take a right turn towards Trebeše village. Before reaching the village, look for a rut to the left leading downhill. Blue-red signs marking the waterfall are visible. It is an easy 250 m walk downhill to the top of the waterfall.
Caution: At the top of the waterfall, be very careful because of the slippery terrain. The bottom can be accessed from the left side of the top.
