Description
Although the Slovenian seaside is quite poor with water resources, there are several interesting brooks worth exploring. The prodigious landscape of the hinterland is very appropriate for hiking and nature observation.
Among these is the brook Pinjevec (also known as Rokava), which is a right tributary of the Dragonja river. While there are no large vertical waterfalls on this section, the cascades at Škrline are exceptionally picturesque and represent a unique hydrological feature of the region.
