The brook of Poličanka (Poličnica) has five waterfalls with heights up to 97 m. There are also smaller waterfalls locally known as "noisers". These waterfalls are very beautiful and pictures cannot show the full impression. Hiking and climbing is recommended only for well-trained individuals; no special equipment is needed, but good profile boots are essential.
Access:
From Idrija or Most na Soči, take the road turn to Zakojca (birthplace of France Bevk) - Kazarska brook. About 300 m down the right bank of the Idrijca river is a sharp road turn. Just after the turn is the entry to the ravine of Poličanka.
