Pasice gorge is famous for the Franja Partisan Hospital from WWII. A partisan hospital for wounded fighters was hidden deep inside the gorge.
There are three waterfalls which can be seen from the path to the hospital. All three waterfalls are in a sequence with a total height of approximately 20 m.
ACCESS:
From Cerkno, follow the noticeable signpost "Franja" on the road to the hospital. After 4 km, there is a snack bar and a parking area.
The walk to the hospital shacks (open-air museum) takes about 15 minutes. The path leads inside the gorge and follows the stream.
