Description
Driselpoh brook is the right confluence of the Bača river. Its source is in the southern part of Črna prst mountain (1844 m). The brook flows in several cascades and some waterfalls (the highest is only 7 m high).
The gorge is much more interesting than the waterfalls themselves. Entry to the gorge is through picturesque evorsion channels with a length of about 100 m and a height of 15 m. The macadam road is routed directly through these channels, allowing for a unique and clear view of the limestone layers.
Access
From Podbrdo, take the road towards Kneža. After 2 km, there is a right turn (cart track) into the 80 m long evorsion channel. It is recommended to start the hike in Podbrdo, as there is limited parking near the gorge.
The walk through the gorge is very pleasant, offering nice views of the peaks above. After about 500 m, you reach a farmhouse, and after another 500 m, you will encounter the first waterfall. The hike to the farmhouse is safe and suitable for children.
