This waterfall (translated as "Mare's peeing") is quite unusual for this part of Slovenia. It is a two-stage waterfall with a total height of 30+ m. The stages are separated by boulder blocks, effectively creating two waterfalls. The shape of the upper stage is where the name originates – look at the picture on the right!
Access
From the regional road Ljubljana-Kočevje, take a right turn at the settlement Rašica (approx. 27 km from Ljubljana). After 6 km of asphalt road, you reach the settlement Rob. From the crossroads in the settlement, turn left and shortly after the asphalt ends, turn onto the macadam road (several sawmills are located here).
Drive or walk for 1.4 km along the brook (on your left). Pay attention to a small right tributary, which can be easily missed. A few minutes of hiking up this stream will lead you directly to the waterfall.
