Cathédrale Sainte-Cécile d'Albi :: The Cathedral ofSaint Cecilia in Albi was built in a gothic style. The construction works started in 1287 and lasted next 200 years. The building is most probably the largest brick building of the World. The church looks like a fortress but the interior is with rich paintings. The blind bell tower is 78 meters high. In 2010 the cathedral was designated aUNESCOWorld Heritage Site UNESCO World Heritage Site .
