Olmeto (Corsican: Ulmetu) is a picturesque, ancient village and commune in the Corse‑du‑Sud department on the island of Corsica. The settlement stretches across the undulating hills of the island’s southwestern region, where stone houses, narrow lanes, and terraced gardens blend harmoniously with a landscape rich in olive trees, oaks, and Mediterranean maquis. Situated at elevations between 300 and 400 metres, Olmeto offers magnificent panoramic views over the Valinco Gulf, one of the most beautiful natural bays in southern Corsica.
